Closure order served on St Neots home |
||
|
Dear Resident, I wanted to update you on action taken recently to address ongoing anti‑social behaviour in St Neots. On Thursday, 12 March, Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court granted a three-month closure order on 29 Prince Close following an application by the St Neots Neighbourhood Policing Team. This decision comes after frequent reports of anti-social behaviour and drug misuse linked to the property. The order means the address will be partially closed for the next three months. The tenants are still permitted to live at the property; however, no one else may enter except the tenant and emergency services until 11 June 2026. This is in line with the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, which allows police and local authorities to restrict access to properties associated with persistent nuisance or disorder. We know the behaviour linked to this address has had a significant impact on the quality of life of nearby residents, and we want to thank everyone who has worked with us to report incidents and share their concerns. If you witness anti-social behaviour or have concerns about activity in your neighbourhood, please report it to us. You can call 101, visit the Cambridgeshire Constabulary website, or dial 999 in an emergency. Thank you for your continued support. PC Bradleigh Bucknell | ||
